Job summary

Collibra's Field Security team seeks a Director of Security Assurance & Trust in Raleigh, blending cybersecurity expertise with customer-facing leadership. The role interlocks with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive security initiatives that add business value and customer trust.

You will advise executives, represent Collibra publicly on security posture, and lead complex programs to ensure scalable, resilient controls while aligning with customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in information security, field security, or customer-facing technical leadership.
• Experience consulting with senior leadership and enterprise customers on security concerns.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, EU AI Act, DORA).
• Excellent written and verbal communications; comfortable presenting to stakeholders.
• Experience establishing standards and managing complex projects in evolving environments.
• Understanding of customer business cases, physical infrastructure, and information assurance.

Responsibilities

• Act as Strategic Advisor to Sales aligning cybersecurity with customer needs.
• Articulate security narratives to guide sales discussions.
• Lead as a Customer-Facing Security Leader representing Collibra’s security posture.
• Collaborate with internal leadership to translate customer requirements into security objectives.
• Analyze customer needs from product and security perspectives to allocate resources.
• Manage complex projects to achieve critical outcomes.
• Evaluate and evolve the security organization’s controls and structures.
• Engage stakeholders to drive security decision-making.
