Job summary

Collibra seeks a Director of Security Assurance & Trust to lead the Field Security team in New York. You will partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to translate security strategy into customer-facing actions and outcomes, balancing risk with business value.

You will act as a senior security advocate, shaping security posture, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to protect customers and Collibra’s reputation.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–7 years in information security, field security, or customer-facing technical leadership.
• Proven track record consulting with senior leadership and enterprise customers on security concerns.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, EU AI Act, DORA).

Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisor to Sales combining cybersecurity expertise with the ability to engage externally with customers, prospects and regulators.
• Excellent Communicator with ability to articulate and own the security narrative to drive sales.
• Customer-Facing Security Leader acting as a public facing persona representing Collibra’s security posture, roadmap and philosophy.
• Collaborating and negotiating with internal business, product, and functional leadership to define and manage customer requirements, regulations into clear security objectives.
• Analyzing customer needs, requirements, and expectations from a product, technical and security perspective to allocate Field Security resources.
• Handling complex, strategically important situations by formulating project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure outcomes.
• Continually evaluating the security organization’s capability to define, develop, and implement scalable controls.
• Engaging stakeholders to ensure appropriate decision-making regarding security analysis, planning, and evolution.
