Job summary

BridgeBio Pharma seeks a Director, Publications and Scientific Communications to lead the publication strategy for acoramidis, providing hands-on support across planning, development, and compliant execution aligned with medical strategic goals and industry best practices.

The role collaborates with internal authors, KOLs, and cross-functional partners to deliver high‑impact publications and real‑world evidence outputs, manage manuscripts and abstracts, and integrate RWE into the broader

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, or related field.
• 10+ years in scientific publications, medical communications or medical affairs.
• Strong expertise in real-world evidence publications.
• Experience contributing to publication strategies and peer‑reviewed outputs.
• Familiarity with industry guidelines (GPP, ICMJE).
• Some travel required (25%).
• CMPP certification preferred; cardiology/rare diseases experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of publication strategy for studies (primarily RWE).
• Manage development, review, and submission of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
• Collaborate with authors, KOLs, and research partners to develop publications.
• Support timely execution of publication plans with cross‑functional partners.
• Develop medical communication materials for medical affairs and training.
• Identify opportunities to integrate RWE into broader scientific strategy.
