Drug Hunter is a B2B scientific intelligence platform for biotech/pharma R&D scientists that empowers them to discover the medicines of the future. We serve over 250 R&D institutions, including many of the world's top biotech and pharma companies.

The Director, Scientific Data & Informatics will own the integrity, structure, and evolution of Drug Hunter's scientific data across our knowledge platform and databases.

Qualifications

• PhD in cheminformatics, bioinformatics, computational biology, structural biology, or related field.
• 10+ years working with scientific data in drug discovery or life-science data/informatics.
• 3+ years leading people or a data function.
• Strong data modelling and programming in Python/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scientific data team and own data strategy across chemistry and biology domains.
• Define data models, provenance, and standards in collaboration with Engineering and Science.
• Oversee extraction of structured information from literature, patents, and sources.
• Align ontology and entity resolution across sources, including synonyms and nomenclature.
• Evaluate data sources for chemistry, biology, DMPK, and clinical domains and guide licensing considerations.
