Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Director of Scheduling and Planning in the Houston area. The role champions a world-class scheduling function across EPC projects, elevating scheduling from a reporting task to a proactive business partner that drives project success.

The ideal candidate will lead high-performing teams, transform processes, and champion Primavera P6 excellence. Expect travel up to 25% domestically and a strong emphasis on risk identification and executive

Qualifications

• 15+ years of project controls experience on complex EPC, heavy construction, or infrastructure projects.
• 5+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and developing scheduling teams.
• Extensive Primavera P6 experience on large, multi-year projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls including: planning and scheduling, cost integration, EVM, progress measurement, change, risk and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing scheduling organization with standards and best practices.
• Develop and implement scheduling processes across portfolios and contract structures.
• Establish schedule quality standards, KPIs, and reporting.
• Partner with Project Controls, Operations, Estimating, and Project Management to improve forecasting and execution.
• Drive Primavera P6 best practices, health reviews, baselining, progress updates, and analysis.
• Mentor schedulers to become proactive project advisors and risk identifiers.
• Integrate schedule, cost, scope, productivity, and risk data to improve predictability.
• Improve reporting and tools to support leadership decisions.
