Job summary

Housing Works seeks a Director of Scatter Site Housing to oversee operational management, regulatory compliance, and clinical oversight for SHAP scatter site programs serving adults and families experiencing homelessness and HIV/AIDS. The role ensures trauma-informed, harm-reduction-based services that align with funder requirements.

Qualifications

• LMSW or LMHC licensure required; LCSW preferred.
• Minimum five years supervisory experience in relevant social services.
• Clinical Judgment: ability to review and provide feedback on case manager documentation and resident engagement.
• Supervision & Staff Development: coaching staff in harm reduction, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, addressing ADLs, and crisis intervention.
• Technology & Evaluation: proficient in Microsoft Office with demonstrated ability to write, assess, and evaluate program performance and staff effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in program improvement and sustainability of clinical and non-clinical metrics.
• Monitor program operations to ensure high-quality services aligned with organizational values and contractual obligations.
• Lead the review and resolution of incident reports; coordinate and ensure annual income verification for residents.
• Oversee data entry and reporting systems, maintaining complete and compliant records for admissions, income changes, and service plans.
• Support recruitment of staff, including interviewing and identifying training needs to build capacity.
