Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Lab Director to lead rapid response laboratories across multiple sites in the Southeast region. You will ensure high-quality service, meet regulatory requirements, and drive operational and financial targets.

You will manage managers and supervisors, develop staff, and collaborate with executives and vendors to expand capabilities and improve turnaround times while maintaining a safe, compliant lab environment.

Qualifications

• Eight years of leadership experience in a laboratory setting.
• Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, HIPAA regulations.
• Experience overseeing multiple sites and driving metrics.

Responsibilities

• Directs managers and supervisors of rapid response labs; monitors KPIs.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and maintains a safe, well‑maintained environment.
• Collaborates with leaders to drive new business and growth initiatives.
• Develops staff and delegates responsibilities across regions.
• Oversees major projects for cost efficiency and footprint utilization.
