Job summary

Marc Fisher Footwear is seeking a Director of Corporate Operations & Sample Management to lead sample handling, showroom support, mailroom operations, and FedEx account oversight across five locations. You will ensure accurate receipt, inventory, storage, shipment, tracking, and distribution to Sales, Product, Marketing, Ecommerce, International, and Executive teams.

This role reports to the Co-President and will manage a team of 4, based in Greenwich, CT with occasional NYC showroom travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in operations, sample management, showroom operations, office services, logistics, distribution, retail operations, or related field.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Experience managing inventory, sample rooms, showrooms, shipping/receiving, mailroom operations, or physical product flow.
• Experience overseeing corporate shipping accounts, carrier billing, or shipment controls preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel between company locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sample management across locations, including receiving, inventory, storage, distribution, and tracking.
• Lead showroom support, space planning, and preparation for shows, market appointments, and executive reviews.
• Manage mailroom, shipping, vendor bids, pricing, and cost controls across locations.
• Partner with Finance, Facilities, HR, IT, and leaders to support moves, renovations, and presentations.
• Establish SOPs, reporting routines, and accountability across five company locations.
• Monitor workload, staffing, inventory, space utilization, and service issues; travel as needed to support events.
