Job summary

Meta seeks a Senior Director to helm category management, go-to-market, and business planning for wearables and hardware. Lead a large multidisciplinary team across first-party, retail, telco, and D2C channels to translate product strategy into channel-ready launches and sustained sell-through.

You will own international channel expansion, partner readiness, and data-driven decision-making, balancing product and commercial priorities at scale.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in category management, go-to-market, retail or channel sales for consumer hardware/electronics.
  • Experience leading category and channel strategy across first-party, third-party retail, carrier, and D2C channels.
  • Experience leading sales operations, business planning, or revenue operations, including planning, forecasting, performance reporting, partner planning, and budget management.
  • Experience owning a commercial performance target (volume, sell-through, profitability) for a consumer product portfolio.
  • Experience building and scaling large, multidisciplinary teams and developing senior leaders.
  • Experience operating at the intersection of product and commercial strategy, including influencing product, assortment, and pricing decisions.
  • Experience managing complex external partnerships across retail, carrier, or manufacturing and licensing.
  • Experience building operating models and processes that scale across large product catalogs and frequent launch cycles.
  • Experience communicating with and influencing executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end category and go-to-market strategy for wearables and hardware, from product launch through in-channel execution and sell-through across channels.
  • Build and lead a large, multidisciplinary organization spanning these functions and develop senior leaders.
  • Set multi-year channel and assortment strategy, prioritizing products for each channel and guiding launch plans.
  • Lead the introduction of new products into channel with channel-ready launch plans, assortment, pricing execution, and partner readiness.
  • Own the channel side of international expansion, including market-entry channel readiness and partner activation.
  • Lead business planning and operations across channels: annual/quarterly planning, gap-to-goal management, budgeting, and reviews.
  • Provide sales performance reporting and BI to turn data into leadership decisions.
  • Oversee partner planning and management by tier, including joint business plans and partner health across retail and D2C.
  • Serve as the senior commercial voice to product and marketing leadership to reflect channel realities.

Meta is seeking a Senior Director to lead category management, go-to-market, and business planning and operations for our wearables and hardware portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of category and channel strategy, product launch, and commercial operations, and owns how our devices reach customers and sell through – across first-party, retail, telco, and direct-to-consumer channels. You will partner with product, product marketing, supply chain, finance, and sales to bring a fast-growing portfolio of consumer devices to market and scale it profitably around the world. You are a builder and an operator who can set multi-year strategy, bring clarity to ambiguity, and lead senior leaders to execute at pace.
