Job summary

Stripe is seeking a seasoned Engineering Program Manager to lead a high-performing team within the Risk Operations Technology Enablement group. You will shape the technical infrastructure that scales Risk operations and partner with Risk engineering and product teams to deliver strategic programs.

You will own the roadmap, coach PMs, and drive critical technical initiatives, balancing risk mitigation with exceptional user experience while advancing Stripe's mission and culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing program managers who lead complex, cross-functional technical programs
• Experience partnering with product and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle and/or go-to-market
• Sufficient technical proficiency to clarify architecture, trade-offs, dependencies, and risks for informed direction
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to digest complex information and make recommendations
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders and senior leaders

Responsibilities

• Shape and drive alignment on Risk Operations’ technical strategy that enables ambitious top-line goals
• Partner cross-functionally with Risk, Eng, and Ops to set and execute the technical roadmap
• Coach a team of engineering program managers to lead programs with vision, goals, and high performance
• Occasionally personally drive the most critical technical programs when strategic importance requires senior influence
• Evolve the team structure, strategy, and roles to meet Stripe’s changing business needs
• Foster Stripe’s user-centric philosophy and culture of transparency, empathy, inclusion, and empowerment
