Job summary

Yext is seeking a Director of Revenue Accounting to lead the Revenue, Billing, and Collections teams and partner with Revenue Systems, General Ledger, Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A. You will own monthly close, revenue recognition, and internal controls while guiding a global team across multiple locations.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, CPA, and expertise in ASC 606, with strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive process improvements and support M&A activities.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional designation.
• 10+ years of total experience with 5+ years in Big-4 plus industry SaaS/software.

Responsibilities

• Direct month-end close for revenue, AR, allowances, deferred revenue and commissions.
• Own revenue recognition policies and liaise with external auditors.
• Lead Revenue and Billing & Collections teams and ensure internal controls.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk and commercial teams on revenue policy changes.
• Oversee internal controls for revenue transactions and reporting.
