Yext Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a Director, Revenue Accounting to lead Revenue, Billing, and Collections, and to own month-end close, policies, and internal controls across a global team. You will work with Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A to ensure accurate revenue recognition and effective reporting.

The role requires a CPA with 10+ years in accounting, Big-4 background, and strong knowledge of ASC 606. Travel will be required, and a competitive benefits package is provided.

Formación

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional designation is required.
• 10+ years of total experience with 5+ years in Big-4 public accounting, plus SaaS/software industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition.
• Proven people management, including international teams.
• Ability to discuss financial implications with non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Direct month-end close for revenue, AR, allowances, deferred revenue and commissions.
• Own revenue recognition policies and liaise with external auditors.
• Lead Revenue, Billing, and Collections teams and ensure internal controls.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk and commercial teams on policy changes.
• Partner with Revenue Systems to automate processes and leverage AI.
• Oversee external audits for revenue-related areas.
• Support SEC reporting and investor relations on ARR and revenue notes.
• Oversee revenue due diligence in M&A and post-acquisition integration.
