Job summary

A Leading Transformation, Restructuring & Fiduciary Advisory Firm is seeking a Director, Restructuring & Performance Improvement to lead and shape major engagements across liquidity, restructuring, and performance improvements. Travel to NYC, Chicago, Houston, or Atlanta will be required, with executive-level client interaction and board-level communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in restructuring, turnaround, performance improvement, or related field.
• Experience with middle-market and large corporate clients.
• Strong financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and client stakeholders simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex restructuring, turnaround, and performance improvement engagements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, boards, lenders, and investors.
• Oversee liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, business plan development, and operational assessments.
• Evaluate strategic alternatives, restructuring options, and value creation opportunities.
• Develop and execute initiatives focused on profitability enhancement, cost optimization, working capital improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
