Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior technology risk leader to guide Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity initiatives across multiple business units. You will drive DR testing, coordinate with product teams to map dependencies, and translate incidents into actionable mitigation plans.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years across cloud, mainframe, and open systems, with strong collaboration skills and experience in risk programs and crisis management.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience across cloud, open systems and mainframe platforms.
• Proven ability to collaborate across business units and third parties to test response capabilities.
• Understanding of the technology stack from applications to storage, including networks and databases.
• Experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity or Risk programs; emergency response preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of TRR testing execution and results, plan creation and maintenance.
• Partner with FSC and BUs on DR failures to derive actionable mitigation plans.
• Align CBS to applications and processes with business continuity teams and stakeholders.
• Resolve IT dependencies with product teams, documenting inconsistencies and risks.
• Hold foundational technology experience across systems, cloud, networking, and security.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively to influence diverse audiences.
• Solve complex problems and mitigate risk with analytical thinking and creativity.
• Participate in incident response and recovery activities, including on-call support.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Leading day‑to‑day management of TRR testing execution and results, plan creation and maintenance.
• Partner with FSC and BUs on DR failures (testing or incident) to derive actionable plans for mitigation.
• Partner with business units, Product Owners, and Business Continuity teams to align Critical Business Services (CBS) to applications and processes.
• Partner with product teams to resolve IT dependency mapping, documenting inconsistencies and associated risks.
• Have foundational technology experience (e.g., systems, cloud technologies, networking, security, storage).
• Exhibit executive presence; communicate clearly, concisely and impactfully to influence others, tailoring messaging to the audience.
• Solve complicated problems, demonstrate confidence with unanticipated situations, and find innovative ways to mitigate risk using advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Participate in incident response and recovery activities, including on‑call and off‑hours support.

Requirements

• 10‑15 years of demonstrated ability and familiarity with a range of technology platforms and environments such as cloud services, open/distributed systems, and mainframe.
• Experience collaborating across business units and products including third parties to analyze and test response capabilities.
• Understanding of the interaction across the technology stack from applications, middleware, databases, servers, routers, networks, and storage devices.
• Familiarity with data replication technologies and methods as well as cloud and hybrid cloud configurations and solutions.
• Experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity or Risk related programs.
• Functional knowledge and experience with emergency response and crisis management (preferred).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics or Risk Management Discipline.
