Job summary

Catholic Social Services (CSS) seeks a Program Director to lead the new ASAM Level 3.1 low-intensity residential treatment program at the Brother Francis Shelter Campus in Anchorage. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team and ensure compliance with grant requirements and regulatory standards.

The role focuses on program development, workflow design, partner collaboration, and quality improvement to expand access to housing-focused recovery services for adults experiencing homelessness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Education, Rehabilitation, Social Work, or related field.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Experience with ASAM Level 3.1 residential substance use treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day-to-day operational oversight for the ASAM Level 3.1 residential program.
• Lead implementation of the new residential treatment program, including workflows, staffing, service expectations and procedures.
• Supervise, support, and evaluate program staff including clinical, peer support and case management teams.
• Ensure services align with ASAM Level 3.1 standards, grant requirements, confidentiality rules, and CSS policies.
• Promote trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, culturally responsive care.
• Coordinate with CSS leadership, shelter operations, and community partners to support integrated care.
• Monitor program quality, participant outcomes, and grant deliverables.
• Support data collection, billing readiness, and reporting requirements.
• Develop referral, admission, service planning, discharge planning, and housing linkage processes.
• Respond to safety issues and staff needs promptly.
• Assist in budget planning and resource management.
• Represent program in meetings with partners and funders.
• Identify opportunities for program improvement to expand access to residential treatment.
