CBRE Investment Management seeks a Director to join the residential asset management team. The role, based in New York City, Boston or Dallas, will act as Regional Asset Manager for a portfolio across Core, Core-Plus, and Value-Add assets, including multifamily and student housing.

You will develop overall investment strategy, optimize occupancy and revenue, and manage capital plans while collaborating with JV partners and third-party managers.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in real estate, accounting, finance, economics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in residential asset management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proven modeling and financial analysis skills including Excel."
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence senior management.

Responsabilités

• Oversee performance of an assigned residential portfolio across diverse assets (core, core-plus, value-add).
• Develop portfolio strategy, coordinate with third-party managers and JV partners for execution.
• Lead budgeting, business planning, and financial reporting for leasing NOI, AR, and variances.
• Drive leasing strategy, pricing, and marketing collaboration with on-site teams.
• Oversee third-party property management, project management, and consultants.
• Lead capital improvements and value-add initiatives across assets.
• Collaborate on valuations, dispositions, and financing with internal teams.
• Negotiate and manage purchase/sale and operating agreements.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and coordinate cross-functionally.
