Brazos Residential seeks an experienced Asset Manager to own a portfolio of multifamily assets and drive performance across its growing platform. You will execute strategic business plans, oversee in-house property management, and partner with senior leadership to maximize asset value and total return.

The role emphasizes identifying value-add opportunities, monitoring leasing, expenses, and market trends, and leading capital improvement initiatives to optimize cost and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
• 3–5 years in multifamily asset management or related real estate roles.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; advanced Excel.
• Understanding of financial statements, JV agreements, and loan docs.
• Organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to travel to properties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive NOI growth and total return through value-add and revenue strategies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and hold management to plan.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly portfolio reporting and analyses.
• Collaborate with property management to direct leasing and market trends.
• Oversee capital improvements and cost controls with teams.
• Develop annual business plans and operating budgets.
• Conduct market research to inform strategy and asset value.
• Support refinancing, dispositions, and site inspections.
• Lead special projects to support asset management.
