Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Environmental Policy, Energy, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or Master's degree in Public Policy, Energy, Environmental Policy, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead legislative and regulatory initiatives impacting IGS's renewable energy businesses, including solar, DERs, storage, and community solar.
  • Develop and execute advocacy strategies before state utility commissions, legislatures, energy offices, and regulatory agencies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulators, policymakers, utilities, and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate legislative and market developments affecting renewable energy policies.
  • Lead regulatory comments, testimony, policy papers, and advocacy materials.
