Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company seeks a Director, Development for Renewable Energy & Data Centers in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead development from site identification through financing and handoff to construction for utility-scale generation and 100-300 MW+ data center loads.

You will own portfolio strategy, budgets, schedules, and risk, drive permitting and engagements with utilities, and collaborate with M&A on due diligence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of renewable energy and/or large-scale data center infrastructure development experience.
• Experience in Arizona or the broader Southwest.
• Track record taking projects from initiation through financial close and into construction.
• Strong exposure to utilities, interconnection, permitting, contracting and financing.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio strategy, budgets, schedules and risk management.
• Lead site identification, land negotiations and real estate agreements.
• Drive permitting, entitlements and community engagement, including public meetings.
• Engage utilities on interconnection, transmission and power delivery.
• Support negotiation of PPAs, energy supply, interconnection, load, EPC and O&M agreements.
• Partner with M&A on due diligence and valuations for acquisitions.
• Work from the Phoenix office 3+ days per week and travel up to 30%.
