Job summary

Invenergy, North America’s largest privately held developer, owner, and operator of power infrastructure, seeks a Director, Renewable Development based in Portland. This leadership role drives utility-scale renewable projects across the Pacific Northwest, coordinating development, interconnection, and permitting efforts with a hybrid office/remote schedule.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in energy project development, a Bachelor’s degree, and travel readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 10+ years in energy project development, transmission, or power project engineering.
• Willingness to travel and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage wind, solar, storage, and geothermal projects in the Pacific Northwest.
• Lead development activities through early, mid, and late stages.
• Secure site control including leases, easements, and agreements.
• Obtain local, state, and federal permits as needed.
• Represent Invenergy with customers, landowners, and officials.
• Manage interconnection activities and coordinate budgets/schedules.
