Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Portland, OR is seeking a Director, Renewable Development to lead utility-scale projects in the Pacific Northwest. The role will drive development from early concepts through permitting and interconnection, coordinating internal and external teams.

Based in the Portland office with a hybrid schedule, you will manage wind, solar, storage, and geothermal initiatives, secure site control, and represent Invenergy with landowners and officials while guiding budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years’ experience in energy project development, transmission, or power project engineering.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project site/offices.

Responsibilities

• Manage wind, solar, storage, geothermal projects within the Pacific Northwest market.
• Lead development activities in early, mid, and/or late stages of projects.
• Identify development prospects, including market assessments and site reconnaissance.
• Secure site control for development prospects, including negotiating leases and easements.
• Take a lead role in obtaining local, state and/or federal permits.
• Represent Invenergy with customers, landowners, officials and other stakeholders.
• Manage interconnection activities.
• Manage tasks according to budgets and schedules.
