West Henderson Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, seeks a Director of Therapy Services to oversee OT, PT, Rehab, and Speech-Language Pathology. The role leads department operations and professional growth, shaping patient care in a 150-bed acute care setting in Henderson, NV.
The ideal candidate holds a NV state license as a Speech Pathologist or as an OT/PT, with 5+ years of leadership in therapy services and a relevant degree. Full-time days with competitive benefits are offered.
West Henderson Hospital is our seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It is located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. The 150-bed hospital is equipped to care for patients with a variety of medical needs. The Director of Therapy Services is responsible for the overall functions and professional growth of the Therapy Services Department inclusive of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Rehab, and Speech Language Pathology Departments
Shift: FULL TIME DAYS
Bachelor’s degree in Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy or Masters/Doctoral level degree from a university program satisfying state licensure and national guidelines.
Five or more years of progressively more responsible relevant work experience, or equivalent, in the field of Speech Language Pathology, Occupational and/or Physical Therapy rehabilitation and management.
Nevada State Licensure as a Certified Speech Pathologist, Registered Occupational and/or Physical Therapist. Speech Pathologists must satisfy ASHA CCC requirements. Current BLS certification.
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
