Job summary

The Valley Health System in Las Vegas area seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide a comprehensive evaluation of ADL functioning and deliver goal‑oriented therapy to maximize patient independence. The role requires Nevada State OT licensure, NBCOT certification, and BLS, with full‑time on‑site service across inpatient units, and collaboration with nursing, rehab and medical teams.

West Henderson Hospital

West Henderson Hospital is our seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It is located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. The 150-bed hospital is equipped to care for patients with a variety of medical needs. Services available include emergency care, cardiac care, neurology care, surgery, gastroenterology and inpatient care for medical needs such as pneumonia. Hospital services include:

Job Description

Qualifications

Shift: FULL TIME VARIED

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a university program satisfying the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) academic and intern requirements for competence.

License/Certification

Nevada State License as a Registered Occupational Therapist. Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Current BLS certification.

Other

Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

May work as a Graduate of Occupational Therapy with recognition of the Board of Occupational Therapist Examiners with on-site
