Henderson Hospital is seeking a Director of Therapy Services to lead the Therapy Services Department, including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Rehab and Speech Language Pathology. You will drive professional growth, ensure high-quality patient care and coordinate across related clinical teams in a large hospital setting.
The role requires a senior level degree in therapy, current Nevada licensure, and extensive leadership experience in rehabilitation services.
West Henderson Hospital is our seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It is located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. The 150-bed hospital is equipped to care for patients with a variety of medical needs. The Director of Therapy Services is responsible for the overall functions and professional growth of the Therapy Services Department inclusive of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Rehab, and Speech Language Pathology Departments
Bachelor’s degree in Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy or Masters/Doctoral level degree from a university program satisfying state licensure and national guidelines.
Five or more years of progressively more responsible relevant work experience, or equivalent, in the field of Speech Language Pathology, Occupational and/or Physical Therapy rehabilitation and management.
Nevada State Licensure as a Certified Speech Pathologist, Registered Occupational and/or Physical Therapist. Speech Pathologists must satisfy ASHA CCC requirements. Current BLS certification.
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
