Job summary

CrossCountry Consulting is seeking a Director who will act as a trusted partner to our Financial Services clients, delivering risk and regulatory transformation programs across the three lines of defense while leading engagements and developing teams.

You will mentor staff, shape client delivery, and contribute to business development, helping clients meet evolving regulatory requirements with practical frameworks and training.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of applicable consulting and delivery in Risk & Regulatory strategy and transformation.
• Experience in professional services (public accounting or advisory firm), preferably at a large global firm.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20-30%.
• Hybrid work: 3 days on-site with 2 days remote.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or other technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Work with Financial Services clients to understand their risk strategy, transformation opportunities, and regulatory challenges.
• Lead client engagements to develop and implement risk and compliance programs to meet evolving regulatory guidelines across the 3 lines of defense.
• Provide guidance and strategic planning support on FS Risk Transformation and remediation.
• Perform risk program gap analysis and maturity assessments with recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients to design and test business process controls for compliance.
• Monitor regulatory trends and emerging risks to shape the practice's strategy.
• Remediate regulatory findings across risk areas.
• Deliver presentations and trainings across all levels of an organization.
• Mentor team members with coaching and performance reviews.
• Contribute to talent acquisition and retention and help hire top talent.
• Participate in business development to market services to clients.
