Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director of Regulatory Operations to join a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will oversee regulatory operations, drive compliance strategies, and respond to regulator inquiries in a highly regulated healthcare environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 7+ years of regulatory, compliance, operations, or related experience, preferably in health care.
• Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement the regulatory operations program, including handling regulatory complaints and grievances.
• Research and apply CMS, DOI, OIG, and HIPAA regulations to develop compliance strategies.
• Coordinate responses to regulator Requests for Information.
• Guide departments on compliance issues and ensure new requirements are implemented.
• Analyze the impact of CMS and marketplace regulatory issues and advise management accordingly.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain and track compliance documentation and regulatory measures.

Education

This role will lead regulatory operations efforts that support compliance, grievance handling, and responses to regulator inquiries in a highly regulated health care environment. You will partner closely with internal departments to interpret evolving requirements, assess operational impact, and ensure timely implementation of new obligations. The position also plays a key advisory role in helping leadership navigate federal and state regulatory changes while maintaining strong documentation and control processes.
