Job summary

Edison Smart is seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Director to lead the global compliance function, oversee international product approvals, and drive strategy across the full product lifecycle. The role focuses on RF/EMC compliance, UL and carrier certifications, and IoT/security device regulatory matters.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in regulatory roles with 5+ in senior leadership, plus an Electrical Engineering background and strong cross-functional collaboration with product

Qualifications

• 10+ years in regulatory/compliance functions with 5+ years in Senior Manager or Director roles.
• Experience with UL certification and global regulatory standards.
• Experience obtaining carrier certifications (Verizon/AT&T).
• Engineering background with cross-functional collaboration.

Compensation: $180,000-$250,000 base +30% bonus + equity

Edison Smart are working with smart home security and connected device company developing AI-powered monitoring solutions and cloud-based security platforms.

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Director to lead global compliance function, oversee international product approvals, and drive compliance strategy across the full product lifecycle.

• RF and EMC compliance experience
• 10+ years in regulatory/compliance functions and 5+ years at Senior Manager or Director level
• Strong experience in Consumer electronics/wireless products, IoT, or security camera experience
• Strong knowledge of UL certification and global regulatory standards
• Experience with Verizon/AT&T certifications
• Engineering degree required (Electrical Engineering preferred)
