Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in multi-family commercial real estate.
• Experience overseeing diversified commercial portfolios.
• Strong financial modeling, underwriting, and capital markets expertise.
• Experience working with a family-owned business and/or a family office is a plus.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and institutionalize the real estate holding company, including asset management, property management, and reporting functions.
• Develop and implement an asset management framework, including budgeting, leasing strategy, capital planning, performance monitoring, and value-creation initiatives.
• Create and oversee a best-in-class property management function, either through internal team development, third-party manager oversight, or a hybrid model.
• Establish portfolio-level reporting and dashboards to track performance and capital needs.
• Oversee leasing, tenant relations, capital projects, renovations and maintenance programs.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for the real estate portfolio on behalf of the family.
• Work closely with the family office to develop the long-term plan for the real estate portfolio.
• Develop and oversee asset-level strategic business plans across the real estate portfolio.
• Drive NOI growth, cash flow optimization, and long-term value creation.
• Monitor performance against underwriting assumptions and strategic objectives.
• Analyze market trends and competitive positioning to inform strategy.
• Identify risks, repositioning opportunities, and value-enhancing initiatives.
• Conduct hold/sell analyses and recommend strategic actions to leadership.
