Job summary

Dogwood Village of Orange County is seeking an experienced RN to lead the RAI department in a Virginia long-term care facility. The role emphasizes planning, directing, and evaluating MDS processes to ensure compliant resident assessments and timely reporting.

The successful candidate will supervise nursing staff, coordinate with administration, and drive quality assurance activities while upholding residents’ rights and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Virginia.
• RAC-CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.
• 1-3 years of supervisory nursing experience.
• Experience in MDS reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the RAI Department.
• Develop, maintain, and update policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Gather and analyze resident data; complete MDS reports timely.
• Identify changes in resident status and initiate new assessments as needed.
• Lead QA meetings, care planning, and regulatory compliance activities.
