Job summary

Scholar Rock seeks a Director of Research and Development Technology to lead IT strategy and the lifecycle of systems across R&D, Regulatory, and Safety. You will drive the Laboratory of the Future, incubating AI, robotics, and data science to support preclinical and translational work.

You will partner with senior scientific and quality leaders to accelerate decision making, ensure compliance, and scale development platforms globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership in biotech or pharma.
• Strong architectural depth across scientific, regulatory, or safety systems.
• Proven partnership with senior scientific, regulatory, and quality leaders.
• Experience with data platforms and regulated life sciences environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategy across R&D, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Safety.
• Develop and govern the Development IT operating model and validation.
• Oversee architecture for development digital ecosystem and data flows.
• Partner with Enterprise Data & AI to enable AI capabilities in development workflows.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, data integrity, and audit readiness.
