Job summary

Bausch + Lomb's R&D Global Portfolio and Project Management group seeks a Director to lead a team of project managers and coordinators, overseeing a portfolio of development projects within a designated business area such as Vision Care, Surgical, or Pharmaceuticals/Consumer.

The Director drives governance through the NPD board, translating customer needs into product requirements, planning global registrations and launches, and ensuring schedules, budgets, risks, and communications are

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Medical Device/Pharma industry.
• 10+ years in R&D project management and leadership.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; MS Project.
• PMP certification is a plus; Agile experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of R&D project managers and coordinators.
• Oversee a portfolio of R&D development projects across a business vertical.
• Chair and manage NPD governance board; ensure project governance and standards.
• Partner with HR for talent development and performance management.
• Develop project strategies, budgets, timelines, risk plans, and launch planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with strategic objectives.
