Qualifications

• 12+ years with BS/BA in IT or related field.
• 10+ years with MS/MA or MBA or equivalent.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in IT data analytics with end-to-end ownership of analytics solutions.
• 6+ years of technical project management in a business environment.
• 8+ years of direct people-management experience.
• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with data/analytics ops.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee the clinical operational data and analytics strategy for clinical systems (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce, Medidata, custom applications).
• Provide strategic leadership across multiple concurrent projects and teams delivering high‑complexity workstreams.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing organization with diverse top talent and capable coaching.
• Shape long‑range Clinical Systems strategies and infrastructure plans through business, technology, and data expertise.
• Oversee scalable data architectures across clinical platforms, ensuring secure, analytics-ready data integration.
• Partner with Validation and Quality teams to ensure testing, process optimization, and GxP compliance.
• Drive efficient R&D applications and clinical systems performance, reducing cycle times.
• Ensure timely SDLC deliverables and data integrity with proper governance.
• Create program budgets and resource plans; identify cross-project synergies.
• Travel as needed to run the department and contribute to the business group.
