Job summary

Vertex Inc. is seeking a Manager, Disease Strategy Finance to lead financial analyses and model development that inform Disease Strategy Teams. You will drive budgeting, long-range planning, and collaboration financials across R&D, manufacturing, and commercial functions.

The role partners with the global CFO organization to deliver insights and strategic guidance to support profitable growth in biopharmaceutical programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance and industry experience, biotechnology/pharmaceuticals strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of biopharma drug development, manufacturing, and commercialization.
• Strong analytical and financial skills for valuation, ROI/ROIC, and complex business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide range of financial analyses to inform DST decisions on investments.
• Lead preparation of alliance/collaboration financials for revenue/cost sharing per contract terms.
• Develop and maintain financial models for R&D, manufacturing, and commercialization.
• Provide input into annual budget, forecasts, and long-range plan.
