Job summary

Daniel Defense seeks a Director of Quality onsite in Black Creek, GA to own the Quality Management System across Manufacturing, Shipping, Receiving, and New Product Development. You will lead QMS strategy, governance, and a prevention-focused quality program, partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Transformation to ensure compliant, scalable execution.

You will report to the COO and build quality capability, lead audits, and drive supplier and process readiness for launches, maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in Quality Assurance/Quality Management in manufacturing.
• 3+ years leading managers and senior professionals.
• Design, govern, and mature Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with New Product Development and launches preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
• Regulatory documentation and audits experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead QMS strategy, governance, and DDX integration across the lifecycle.
• Be final authority for product release and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain on quality readiness.
• Drive prevention-based quality, process capability, and control plans.
• Develop and coach quality managers, engineers, technicians.
• Lead audits and drive corrective actions to root causes.
