Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. seeks a Director of Quality Services for Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital to provide strategic leadership for quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and performance excellence.

This role partners with hospital executives, physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to advance a culture of quality and support the organization’s commitment to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree is required in a clinical discipline, industrial engineering, or related field.
• MSN is preferred for this role.
• Active nursing license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate corporate initiatives and expectations to all team members and physicians.
• Partner with medical, nursing, and leadership to implement strategies on quality and safety.
• Collaborate with the performance improvement team to identify opportunities.
• Interact with quality councils to identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Oversee hospital progress on quality score cards and Board metrics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with medical staff and leadership to support quality initiatives.

Education
