AlohaCare, a Hawai‘i-based non-profit health plan, seeks a Director of Quality to lead quality strategy and improvement across lines of business. You will drive QAPI, health equity, and performance initiatives while ensuring compliance with Medicare and Medicaid requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders across departments.

You will develop and mentor a high-performing team, oversee Quality programs, and report results to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, healthcare administration, business administration, health sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance for a managed care organization and/or healthcare organization.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Medicaid and/or Medicare programs.
• Minimum of 5 years of Quality program development and implementation experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and developing a team.
• Knowledge of health plan Quality operations and programs, including PDSA quality improvement methodology.
• Experience with electronic clinical data systems (ECDS), FHIR, EHR/HIE data, interoperability, quality technology strategy.
• Experience using healthcare quality, population health, performance dashboard, or quality management technology to monitor outcomes and support improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret quality data, validate performance reporting, assess data completeness and accuracy, and translate findings into actionable strategies.

Responsabilités

• Lead implementation of AlohaCare’s Quality Strategy to improve health of members and communities served and maintain relationships.
• Develop and implement QAPI, Quality & Performance Improvement and Health Equity plans and work plans.
• Recommend annual quality performance targets and lead initiatives to improve HEDIS, CAHPS, HOS, Star Ratings and MedQUEST outcomes.
• Develop and provide Quality trainings and educational materials.
• Ensure Quality operations comply with Medicare/SNPM, MedQUEST, HIPAA and NCQA requirements; coordinate with Compliance for accreditation.
• Support governance committees and present performance results and recommendations to executive leadership.
