Job summary

HarbourVest in the United States is seeking a Client Service Director focused on Quantitative Investment Sciences (QIS) to lead end-to-end client support and drive a scalable service model.

You will partner with QIS, Investor Relations, Technology, and Operations to deliver high-quality experiences, manage requests, define KPIs, and enable a broader Client Service team with training and materials.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of client-facing experience in institutional client service/relationship management.
• Experience in private markets, asset management, or Financial Technology.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Salesforce familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the QIS Client Service team to deliver a scalable, repeatable model.
• Serve as primary contact for existing clients, ensuring a positive, holistic experience.
• Manage incoming QIS-related requests and coordinate with the QIS team as needed.
• Ensure all QIS-related requests are logged for benchmarking and reporting.
• Define, measure, and communicate service KPIs to stakeholders.
• Roll out new QIS processes and drive internal change management.
• Collaborate with QIS, Investor Relations, Technology, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Develop client-facing communications, FAQs, and standard responses for consistency.
• Enhance cross-functional partnerships and integrate QIS efforts into firm-wide processes.
