Job summary

Ascend Healthcare is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to lead psychiatry, therapy, and support services across community health centers in a fully remote role. You will drive clinical program oversight, contract performance, and partner engagement while building scalable systems for growth.

You will foster high-quality care, collaborate with the COO and leadership teams, and align training, standards, and program development.

Qualifications

Board-certified PA-C or PMHNP with an active license.

Responsibilities

Provide direct leadership for psychiatry, therapy, and support services at assigned CHCs.
Ensure evidence-based practices and clinical standards are applied.
Align training, quality improvement, and staff development initiatives.
Support clinical managers with escalations and leadership capacity.
Provide direct patient care within licensure (~10–15 hours/week).
Monitor productivity, slot utilization, and workflow efficiency.
Standardize processes and deploy best practices for consistency and scalability.
Serve as EMR expert for assigned systems (training, utilization, reporting, data integrity).
Establish accountability structures for managers and clinicians to meet goals.
Report outcomes and contract performance to senior leadership.
Support CHC compliance including credentialing and onboarding.
