Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Director of Provider Network Strategy & Contracting to lead the organization’s end-to-end network strategy and contracting across Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial plans in Michigan.

You will drive affordability and quality, identify network gaps, manage strategic contracting initiatives, and partner across clinical, financial, and operations teams to support growth and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field required.
• Eight (8) years of experience in provider network management, provider contracting, or value-based payment.
• Three (3) years of experience in government programs (Medicaid, Medicare, MA/D SNP) while leading multi-market provider contracting or network development programs.
• Three (3) years in a supervisory role leading or assisting in all phases of supervision (Recruitment, performance management, training).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end provider network for the health plan.
• Oversee overall contracting strategy, affordability, and quality goals.
• Lead strategic contracting initiatives across Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial lines.
• Ensure access, competitive positioning, and regulatory readiness; lead cross-functional governance.
