Job summary

Michaels Organization is seeking a Director of Business Systems & Solutions to lead property technology across its nationwide portfolio of multifamily, affordable, student, and military housing. You will translate strategic priorities into a disciplined platform roadmap and drive implementation readiness, reporting, and ongoing optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years in managing or supporting business applications or property management systems
• Experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives and teams
• Hands-on experience with Yardi, RealPage, or Entrata required; multifamily or affordable housing preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery, optimization, performance, and support of property technology systems across the portfolio
• Oversee integrations and data exchanges between property tech and enterprise platforms
• Establish service levels, KPIs, and governance for the platform portfolio
• Manage vendor performance, SLAs, renewals, and collaborations with IT and operations
• Drive training, adoption, and change management for new tools and features
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, new development leases, and transitions
