Title: Director, Program Management

Client: Established, mission-driven not-for-profit firm in the entertainment industry. Headquartered in NYC with millions of members around the world.

Location: Hybrid onsite in New York City 3x per week

About the Role

Our client looking for a Director of Program Management to bring structure and process discipline to how programs are run across the organization. This role is ideal for someone with a consulting background who's used to walking into ambiguity, applying a repeatable methodology, and getting stakeholders aligned — rather than someone who needs an existing, fully-built system to operate within.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive process improvement initiatives across programs, applying structured methodology to bring consistency and rigor
• Partner with stakeholders to assess current workflows and identify where standardized process would improve outcomes
• Manage day-to-day program tracking and reporting, including spreadsheet-based data work
• Adapt to and adopt whatever tools/platforms are in use (e.g., Monday.com) without requiring prior familiarity

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years of experience, ideally from a consulting background (Big 4/Big 5, or a strong smaller shop such as KPMG, EY, or Deloitte-tier)
• Working knowledge of process improvement and project management methodology — PMP not required, but Six Sigma is a strong plus as evidence of structured, methodical thinking
• Basic-to-intermediate Excel proficiency — must be comfortable sorting spreadsheets, rounding numbers, and handling basic data manipulation without friction
• A can-do, flexible attitude toward learning new platforms — willingness to pick up Monday.com or any other tool on the job, without needing prior experience
• Bachelor's degree required
