Job summary

BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager to join the Combat Mission Systems Supply Chain for New Product Introduction.

The role focuses on leading government defense program responses and engaging cross-functional teams across Business Development, Contracts, Engineering and Operations. Travel up to 25% is required as the team supports supplier site visits and early involvement in product development to mitigate risk and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of supplier quality

Qualifications

6+ years of related experience in supply chain, program or project management.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
Experience with cross-functional teams and strong communication skills.
Experience with government defense proposals and supplier engagement is a plus.
Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

Lead government defense program responses for the Supply Chain team.
Engage with Business Development, Contracts, Engineering, Operations and Suppliers.
Support programs to ensure Supply Chain involvement early in development life cycle.
Identify and mitigate risk to deliver supplier quality material on time and within budget.
Travel up to 25% for supplier site visits and program support.
