Legends Global is seeking a Director of Production in Indianapolis, IN to lead apparel decoration operations, including screen printing and heat seal, across locations. You will drive production schedules, maintain quality, and manage a large team to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 7–10 years in apparel decoration with 3–5 years leading production teams, strong leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and create a production schedule that meets internal and external needs.
  • Oversee and manage multiple production locations.
  • Purchases supplies required for operations based on production schedule.
  • Interfaces with others to ensure customer deadlines are met.
  • Inspects and measures finished product to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Directs team members in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products which fail to meet standards.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Identify opportunities for administrative and process improvement.
  • Implement changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
  • Analyses and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving issues.
  • Work with vendors and industry experts.
  • Maintains time and production records.
  • Develops capital equipment justifications for machines and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times.
  • Develop production standards, policies and procedures for the department.
  • Ensure ink mixtures conform to PMS color and manage ink costs.
  • Aid in recruitment through interviews and training.
  • Maintain contact with team regarding on-the-floor activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Manages up to 100 team members in Production Department and oversees overall direction, coordination, and evaluation.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include hiring, training, planning, directing, and evaluating staff.
