Director, Product Management, Digital Services

What You’ll Do

Vaniam Group is seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Product Management to join our Digital Services team. In this role, you’ll act as a critical connector — bringing together client needs, competitive insights, and internal capabilities to help define, shape, and deliver digital products that transform the healthcare communications space.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership to inform and support the company’s digital vision, with a particular focus on translating strategy into action. This includes gathering intelligence from the field, identifying unmet needs and whitespace opportunities, and ensuring that what we build resonates with our clients and drives business value.

This is not a technical development role — it’s a client-informed, market-aware, execution-focused position that plays a central role in turning vision into impact.

A Day in the Life

  • Translate client feedback and market trends into actionable product requirements and development roadmaps.
  • Develop and refine digital healthcare products, including analytics platforms, engagement tools, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and aligned product delivery.
  • Support product launches, feature releases, and iterative product enhancements informed by user feedback.

Client Responsibility

  • Engage with clients to understand evolving needs, pain points, and opportunities for product-driven solutions.
  • Advocate for client priorities within internal product discussions while also supporting client teams in articulating our product value.
  • Partner with Business Development to position digital offerings effectively and support go-to-market efforts.
  • Develop strong client relationships, acting as a trusted thought leader for implementing solutions that deliver on client needs..

Management and Internal Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to help shape the digital strategy and contribute market-informed perspective to innovation planning.
  • Work across internal teams—Scientific Communications, Client Solutions, IT Operations—to ensure alignment and operational readiness.
  • Establish feedback loops to continuously improve product-market fit and user satisfaction.

Business Development

  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to inform product positioning and differentiation.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities in the digital healthcare space to drive new product concepts and capabilities.
  • Support revenue growth by co-developing proposals and enabling the field to articulate product value.

What You Must Have

Education and Experience

  • Advanced degree in business, analytics, or related fields preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical informatics, marketing, or analytics, specializing in omnichannel solutions, data insights, and product development.
  • Experience in medical communications, HCP engagement, or life sciences preferred.
  • Proven track record directing business growth, with a history of launching products delivering multimillion-dollar revenue increases.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience translating market and client input into product strategy and detailed requirements.
  • Market awareness and strategic mindset, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong market research and insights capabilities to define product portfolios, create value-driving strategies, and inform decision-making processes.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to innovate, scale solutions, and deliver business results to exceed performance metrics.
  • Exceptional ability to foster cross-departmental collaborations, develop talent, and inspire innovative thinking within high-performing teams.
  • Proven communication and leadership skills to drive large-scale initiatives and partnerships in complex healthcare landscapes.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for client meetings, product launches, and industry events

The Team You’ll Work Closest With

The Digital Engagement team expands the boundaries of medical communications, building on our legacy of oncology expertise and HCP connectivity with strategic, interconnected, state-of-the-art digital and interactive experiences. With our omnichannel approach, we will focus our efforts on a cross-channel strategy, seamlessly integrating content on and offline to provide consistency across multiple, well-considered touchpoints during the user’s journey. You will work closely with Client Solutions, Scientific Communications, IT Operations, and Business Development to define and deliver new products and enhancements.
