Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Director of Product Engineering & New Product Introduction (NPI) to lead the site in delivering high‑reliability products from concept through production and support.

You will drive engineering and NPI strategies, ensuring design for testability, manufacturability, and customer satisfaction, while partnering with Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Programs. This is an onsite leadership role at our Buffalo facility.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar is required, Master’s preferred.
Experience leading engineering teams or managers in regulated, high‑reliability manufacturing.
Strong record of driving results and leading change in ambiguous environments.
Ability to set and execute strategic objectives across functions and sites.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Product Engineering & NPI team; set goals and mentor talent.
Provide technical leadership for production programs to meet performance, quality, and customer needs.
Own product transitions from development to production readiness and stable manufacturing.
Work with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations to ensure design for testability and manufacturability.
Define requirements and specs for production assembly and test tools with Design/Test Engineering.
