Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is seeking a Director, Procurement Accountability to direct internal and external audits, investigations, and FOIL responses across the Procurement division. You will ensure timely, well-supported management responses and alignment with transparency standards.

You will lead a team of professionals, interact with Inspector Generals and other external agencies, and enforce policy adherence and ethical procurement practices across the agency.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of procurement practices and related policies.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audits and investigations; coordinate with OIGs and external agencies.
• Direct FOIL responses and ensure timely, accurate information disclosure.
• Lead IPSIG program oversight and vendor accountability initiatives.
• Manage staff and drive compliance with NYS Finance Law and ethics rules.
