CordenPharma Colorado seeks a Director of Process Research & Development to lead the Process R&D department at the Boulder site, setting objectives aligned with site strategy and delivering development programs for peptides and small molecule APIs with GMP compliance.

You will guide cross‑functional teams, drive process development and tech transfers, manage budgets, and mentor leaders while ensuring on‑time, on‑quality delivery for customers in a CDMO environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Chemistry/Engineering with 15 years in API/peptide development.
• Experience developing CMC strategies and process transfer.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical and managerial leadership of Process R&D’s project portfolio, ensuring on-budget and on-time delivery for technical work.
• Lead Process Chemistry and evaluate new projects for risks and opportunities.
• Devise long-term process development strategies aligned with commercialization timelines.
• Communicate with customers and lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic direction.
• Guide peptide and small-molecule development programs from early to late stage, including scale-up and tech transfers.
• Ensure R&D capabilities align with goals and leverage external sources as needed.
• Be part of the site Leadership Team and support continual improvement and compliance.
