Job summary

Amgen seeks a Business Performance Director to drive Process Intelligence initiatives across the enterprise and partner with the Results Delivery Office, Digital Technology & Innovation, and business teams to deliver scalable analytics and governance. You will guide cross-functional teams, translate strategy into executable plans, and ensure measurable outcomes that advance transformation priorities.

The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on analytics using leading BI and process mining

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of experience in data science, process improvement, or related fields.
• Masters degree and 7 years of experience in data science, process improvement, or related fields.
• Bachelors degree and 9 years of experience in data science, process improvement, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of Process Intelligence activities across prioritized enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
• Drive identification and realization of value through process optimization, automation, and performance improvement.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Develop and enhance supporting structures, tools, and methodologies to scale Process Intelligence adoption.
• Enable and support functional transformation teams in applying Process Intelligence capabilities.
• Build and manage knowledge repositories of process insights, benchmarks, and best practices.
• Promote reuse of assets, standard approaches, and scalable delivery models.
• Support establishment and evolution of governance frameworks, standards, and KPIs for Process Intelligence.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise transformation goals and value tracking mechanisms.
• Partner closely with RDO, DTI, and functional business teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on process performance and improvement opportunities.
