Job summary

Imperial Brady, a leading North American distributor, seeks a Director of Business Process Excellence in Jersey City, NJ. You will identify and deliver productivity improvements via process redesign, automation, and AI solutions, partnering with IT and business teams to implement scalable changes.

Lead pilots, build rigorous business cases, and drive full-scale rollout across functions like order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in engineering, operations, or business; MBA a plus.
• 5–9 years in process improvement or automation/AI delivery roles.
• Hands-on with automation tooling in live environments (RPA, low-code, AI copilots).
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end process discovery and value-stream mapping across priority functions.
• Identify and prioritize automation and AI opportunities (RPA, workflow, generative AI).
• Build business cases with cost-to-serve, FTE impact, cycle-time, and ROI.
• Partner with IT, Data, and vendors to design and oversee solutions.
• Run pilots, measure results against the business case, scale deployments.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma and change management for adoption post-go-live.
• Equip teams with training and tools to sustain improvements.
• Maintain a pipeline of productivity initiatives tracked by the PMO.
