Lonza Biologics, Inc. seeks a Director, Process & Analytical Development to lead analytical development, process development, and project-specific manufacturing in the ADS US organization.

Initially remote, with a transition to a future center of gravity on the East Coast or Midwest as the program expands. You will guide budgets, drive Lean maturity, and collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, MSAT, and Quality to ensure safe, compliant, on-time execution and readiness for scale-up and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field required; PhD preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in pharma/biotech/CDMO or life sciences environments.
• Strong understanding of GMP-regulated operations, validation, and technology transfer.
• Proven ability to lead large teams, manage budgets, and drive Lean/Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing ADPD organization.
• Define and execute strategic direction through long-term planning and portfolio management.
• Establish capabilities and infrastructure to support future manufacturing operations.
• Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, MSAT, Engineering, Quality, Automation, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
